The RGB Amplifier is a Pulse Width Modulated (PWM) repeater or LED amplifier for dimming larger than 72-Watt runs of LEDs from one dimmer.

The LED repeater can handle 12/24VDC input up to 210W and comes with two separate input connections should you need it. The output of the repeater has 3-channels, each capable of a 6 amp (6A) load. Finally the the last connection is from the repeater to the dimmer. See picture to the right for more details on connections.

Description

The RGB  LED repeater ( amplifier ) can handle 12/24VDC input up to 9A ( 3A each channel ).

DO NOT CONNECT 240VAC POWER TO THIS DEVICE. IT MUST BE POWERED ONLY BY 12VDC OR 24V DC (CONSTANT VOLTAGE) POWER.

  • A 12VDC/24VDC LED driver is required
  • IP-20 rated, good for indoor installations
  • See RGB and Single colour LED strips for  compatible strip lights
  • Compatibility: 12-24VDC RGB LED lights
  • Normally recommended for every 5m length for 12VDC and every 10m length for 24VDC
  • Do not exceed 3 amps of load per channel.
